In late August 2021, RACV recognised that due to the impact of repeated closures during the COVID-19 pandemic that as a gesture of goodwill, RACV would be providing all TGC members for the 2020/21 subscription period with a RACV Torquay gift card.

Whilst there was no obligation under Australian Consumer Law (ACL) to refund or make adjustment for the upfront payments that covered the period of the closures when the service had been suspended due to government restrictions, RACV appreciated the ongoing support of our members through these extremely challenging times.

A tiered approach, aligning with categories of membership, was taken in applying the value of vouchers to be provided:
• Junior/Intermediate Members $50
• Ordinary (5, 6 & 7 Day) $100
• Senior/Veteran Members/Country $50

Note: Vouchers will not be provided for inactive or non-playing categories, e.g. Leave of Absence and Social.

These vouchers will be available for collection from the Golf Shop.

The vouchers have an expiry period of 12 months, being November 30, 2022.

The vouchers can only be redeemed within the RACV Torquay Resort.

Please treat cards as cash, i.e. they cannot be replaced if lost.
