Hole 18
This Par 5 has bunkers to the right of the fairway which often capture strong drives. It also has a penalty zone on the left-hand side of the fairway some 200 metres from the tee and stretching some 100 metres in length. It invokes a one-shot point of entry penalty for those shots that end in there. There is a wetland area on the right-hand side opposite the penalty area and the fairway slopes left to right making placement important. There are two bunkers to the left of the fairway that often catch a second shot whilst the green has two bunkers protecting it to the right into which the fairway slopes. A short approach shot can often roll into them. Placement of your approach into the green is essential.
